Banker’s Insulting Waitress Tip Incites Class Warfare Between the 1% and the 99% Trending Now - Yahoo! News

My thought on this is, who is the Banker to tell someone such a thing without knowing why that person is working that job. People seem to feel better belittling others just because they and think that their social status gives them the license to judge. This only tells you about the person who is making the statement. We in society do much better if we gave positive advice and not insults from judgements that is not based on understanding and facts.

Hey big jobs, small jobs, corporate, self employed job are all real jobs in the American dream philosophy. We are who we are at the time and place where we are. Everything is a step to the next thing or a accomplishment that is to be praised.

So I ask, what is a real job? Well, maybe it is in the minds of the prideful a job that has a merit and standard that compares only to that individuals world and nothing based on normality's or humbleness.

A real job is something legal and in the regulations of the Government standards for working individuals.

Here are other definitions of a Real Job:

  1. (idiom) A job which requires the employee to, work regular hours for a consistent wage that often exceeds the provisions of applicable minimum wage legislation. A job that produces a living wage.
  2. (idiom) A job that can't be replaced advantageously by a machine or a procedure.
  3. (informally) (idiom) A hobby that takes all of a person's free time

But according to the Urban Dictionary a Real Job is:

A term used by college graduate snobs, used to convince themselves that working in a cooperation isn't a waste of time and following your dreams will get you nowhere.

I used that definition because it seems to apply to that of a college grad Banker.

What would you think should be the normal definition of a "Real Job"? By all means be humble and rational when you answer that!
